Ann Bancroft Foundation Names ECMC Group’s Sarah Strehl to Board of Directors

MINNEAPOLIS—Sarah Strehl, chief human resources officer for ECMC Group, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Ann Bancroft Foundation. Effective immediately, this position will allow Strehl to support the Ann Bancroft Foundation’s vision to create a world where individuals identifying as girls have the opportunity to live their dreams and reach their fullest potential.

“Sarah’s expertise in leading with strong energy and collaboration makes her an ideal fit in our organization, where we strive to foster a sense of belonging centered in diversity, equity and inclusion,” said Jackie Hartman, chair of the Ann Bancroft Foundation board of directors. “Her passion will be invaluable as we take bold action to support girls in our community.”

In her role, Strehl will help guide the organization’s efforts to impact lives through strategic structure, relationship building and grantmaking.

“As a co-lead for ECMC Group’s Women Thriving Employee Network Group, I have experienced firsthand the stories, triumphs and challenges women and girls have faced as they pursue their dreams,” said Strehl. “I am honored to bring this knowledge and my work in building people-related processes to the Ann Bancroft Foundation to support their investment in the girls who shape our communities.”
