Altierus Career College-Norcross Names Sharon Clay Campus Director

NORCROSS, Ga.—Altierus Career College’s Norcross campus has named Sharon Clay campus director. Clay will oversee campus management and strategy, as well as day-to-day operations supporting academic quality, student engagement and student success in all programs and services.

“Sharon has a wealth of knowledge in the student success and career education spaces that make her an invaluable asset as we train the future workforce and develop new ways to support positive outcomes for underserved students,” said Jacob Kassuba, vice president of campus operations for ECMC Education, which oversees the Altierus Career College campuses. “Her leadership and experience developing partnerships will help us better serve our communities and deliver job-ready graduates to fill employer needs.”

Clay brings more than 20 years of experience in the education industry, from campus leadership to community and career services. Prior to joining Altierus, she served as campus president for St. Andrews University Charlotte campus in North Carolina.

“Throughout my career, I’ve seen the value of creating an environment focused on student success, and that is what Altierus provides for its students,” said Clay. “I look forward to becoming a resource for the faculty and staff, as well as cultivating relationships that contribute to the advancement of our learners and the satisfaction of our employer partners.”

Clay holds a master of arts in education from Argosy University and a bachelor of science in marketing from the University of New Orleans.

Altierus Career College offers diploma and degree programs in the skilled trades and healthcare. In addition, Altierus provides innovative learning technology, a hands-on experience, one-on-one support, connections with industry experts and wraparound services such as transportation assistance, emergency grants and tablets to support continuity of the education journey.
